About this course

The Anatomy and Modeling in Maya course is designed for students who are interested in modeling a portrait in 3D. Anatomy lessons demonstrate how to identify anatomy details as they relate to modeling a portrait. These cumulative details show how to work from general to specific forms while modeling your base mesh and adding detail. The provided interactive anatomy tool will make it very easy for students to review their anatomy lessons without having to leaf through a textbook or re-watch the video tutorial, although that is encouraged. Modeling tutorials start from beginning to end with no “outside of class” changes between videos making the tutorial easy to follow. Step by step instruction will make it possible for each student to replicate exactly what the author has created.
